It’s official: Express Route 80X will begin regular service Monday, Dec. 3, to Target and Wal-Mart on north Thomasville Road!

The bus will run every half hour during the morning and afternoon rush hours and once an hour during the middle of the day,

  • From Target:  At 7 and 37 minutes past the hour, from 6:37 a.m. until 7:07 p.m.
  • From Wal-Mart:  At 12 and 42 minutes past the hour, from 6:42 a.m. until 7:12 p.m.
  • From Village Square/Premier:  At 17 and 47 minutes past the hour, from 6:47 a.m. until 7:17 p.m.
  • From C.K. Steele Plaza (downtown):  At 10 and 40 minutes past the hour, from 6:40 a.m. until 7:10 p.m.

The bus stop at Target will be moved from the front of the store, where it was during Commuter Choices Week, to a grassy area near the exit. The bus stop at Wal-Mart will be in the same location — at the entrance near the gas station. I suggest you go the day before to look for the StarMetro signs. 80X will also stop at the Village Square and Premier stops before heading downtown.

On the way home, you’ll catch the northbound 80X at the stop across the street from the plaza.
