A few questions:
1) Has Star Metro given any thought on bringing back the $5.00 monthly bus pass for state employees?
2) Government employees were able to ride for free on a couple of days this week. Is this a one time promotion, or monthly or weekly? Also, most bus drivers were unaware of the promotion.
3) What are the rules for allowing homeless or drunken people on the bus. There was a person on the route 16 5:40 bus on 10/18 who had soiled himself. The entire bus reaked of urine. Just wondering.
Overall it has been a great experience so far.

I apologize for not responding sooner.
1) I don’t know about the state bus pass. I’m guessing that’s something that would be negotiated between the state and StarMetro. But I’ll check.
2) It was a promotion. I, too, ran into problems. I got a free ride on the first bus but had to pay on the next. Sigh.
3) I don’t know about the policy. I’m sure the experience was quite unpleasant for everyone. You might want to check directly with StarMetro.
